Blanks stacking at 450 metres per minute

Now CSi successfully developed and installed a new blanks stacking and palletising solution at one of the leading manufacturers of liquid packages.

The fully automatic printing and dye-cutting line operates at a speed of 450 metres per minute. It therefore required a revolutionary new way of handling blanks that match this high printing speed.

Previously, the industry standard for handling blanks was around 300 metres per minute, limiting the overall line output. CSi’s new robotic blanks packing and palletising system allows modern printing lines to achieve their maximum line speeds. With this solution CSi again confirms its ability to handle products at extreme speeds with unmatched accuracy. Also in this case the system availability is well over 99%. It highlights CSi’s leading position in this sector of materials handling technology. Indeed, CSi now holds the record for blanks stacking and palletising, but continues to ‘push the technology envelope’.
